Step 1
Open YAST2 Control Center and select FTP Server
Step 2
Select VSFTP as a selected service in Startup tab
Step 3
Select FTP Directories for FTP Access to remote users
Step 4
Enable preferred user group (Anonymous or Authenticated) Users and Select Enable Upload
Step 5
Enable Firewall and Click Finished

Step 6
Uncomment following lines on vsftpd.conf file in etc directory
Step 7
Change Ownership to FTP Login user in the selected directory
Or using Terminal
CHOWN –R your_user:nogroup /your_directory
Step 8
Restart the FTP server
/etc/init.d/vsftpd/ restart
